How should Paris look like
Since I have suggested France invite more Tibetans-in-exile to Paris to promote the spiritual level of the city, some of the French people might have been thinking that it’s not a bad idea. Therefore I’d like to show them some pictures of the “free spiritual” Dharamsala, where the “government” of the “Tibetans-in-exile” resides, so that they can start planning Paris in a similar fashion to make it more welcoming.
I’m sure French people would prefer the style of the free Dharamsala like that:
as apposed to the “repressive” Lhasa, China, like that:
Well then, it’s looking that it won’t be too “expensive” to create a Little Dharamsala in Paris. Except, of course, you always have to afford a much more luxurious place for the leader:
But no worry, as this can be sponsored by Reporters Without Borders!
China’s view of Tibet
From the blog of the New Voice, I was let to this article: China’s View of Tibet by Kishore Mahbubani — dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore. Let me quote a small part:
… the Chinese recall that the latest efforts to separate Tibet from China came as recently as the 1940s and 1950s, when British and U.S. agents were seen to be encouraging Tibetan independence while the new People’s Republic was still weak. The Chinese also have powerful memories of Britain’s central role in the notorious opium trade of the 18th and 19th centuries, when European trading companies sold the drug to smugglers, then used the ill-gotten gold to buy silk, tea and porcelain.
The related Opium Wars, during which Hong Kong was seized by Britain, are a distant memory in Western minds but remain in the forefront of the Chinese psyche. When the West is seen to be trying to detach Chinese territory again, it rubs salt into this still-fresh wound. Virtually no Chinese believe that Western governments have a strictly moral interest in Tibet. …
Dalie (Dalai Lama) received some “extra welcome” in Seattle
Let me use his own phrase: “this is 21th century, lying can no longer work.” I sincerely wish this man start thinking about what he can do good rather than harm to his country in the very limited time during the rest of his life (except if you seriously believe he’s still got a next life!). Much more and larger pictures can be found here.
Rumors stop at the wise
The fame of France has been severely damaged recently due to the outrageous irrational racism anti-China rally during the Olympic torch relay in Paris. However terrible that was, we have to admit, this gentleman, Mr. Jean-Luc Melenchon is a brave man with integrity who finally stands up and speaks out for the truth. We should give him, and therefore France, the due credit and respect.
Why are we not talking to Dalie (Dalai)
Some often says, Dalie (Dalai) always claims that he doesn’t seek independence of Tibet, but only Tibetan self-ruling in China. So, why are you still not talking to him? Well, first of all, among those who know the real history of the whole Tibet problem, this man has zero credibility, despite all the auras the western media/politicians created around him in front of the innocent westerners. For those who wish to know the truth, there are plenty resources online. In my blog, you can read my brief history of Tibet in 1950-1959, and maybe this post too. More detailed, and probably more accurate descriptions can be found from various external links on the side of this page. If reading is too hard for you, plenty of videos are available on YouTube too. Here are a few out of hundreds more.
- Tibet: the truth (A Political History),
- The truth about Dalai Lama,
- Seven lies about Tibet and His Holiness,
- A National Geographic Documentary about Tibet,
- And don’t miss to see how Dalie (Dalai) practices “democracy” in his own government-in-exile: Dalai Lama and Dorje Shugden.
- CIA involvement in Tibet, is certainly something you need to know as well. Listen to how Truman was so determined to detest “communist slavery” by supporting the religious/feudal slavery in Tibet. Also watch how the “peaceful monks” were hoping US would give them atomic bombs to destroy China. This video, once again claimed falsely that Chinese army invaded Tibet in 1950. To compensate the mistake, I invite you to watch this also American made propaganda movie in 1940’s recognizing Tibet a part of the Republic of China. How ironic. Pay attention to the way they drew different maps for different purposes.
- Much more interesting stuff can be found on this blog: Useful Links regarding Tibet.
Anyway, the original purpose of this post was to show the following very impressive illustration. Whoever that’s got a brain should understand now why we would never discuss “the self-ruling” proposal (leaving alone all other more concrete reasons) with a political fraud. Admittedly Israel/Palestine problem is a complex problem that I do not wish to take any stance here. However, this illustration begs the question: where have gone all those “world leaders”, those so enthusiastically urging China to talk to Dalie these days? Can we rely on their judgement at all?
BTW, I have to keep “Dalai” in the brackets to enhance searchability, although officially on this blog, the man’s title is Dalie or Daliar as suggested elsewhere. I believe the title “Dalai” is part of Tibetan, and hence Chinese, culture which deserves everyone’s respect. When the title is seized by someone who betrayed its dignity, we should not let the title be tainted along. I kindly ask everyone who’s conscious of the truth start the same practice, so eventually we can stop the confusions.
CNN: Everything is possible
This one I stole from the blog of The Modern China, and here is the original post. This cartoon is not by any means exaggerating. Most recently, they insisted calling thousands of pro-China supporters in San Francisco “protesters”, and blatantly lied to the faces of millions of Americans that the young Chinese there were demanding more human rights, despite the fact that they were repeatedly informed the opposite through all sorts of channels, including the local supporters calling in and complaining (not that they don’t want human right, but they want them to shut up whining for now in the spirit of the Olympics). CNN, used to be quite a deceivingly trustworthy brand, is now one of the most disgusting names of the media around the world.
The face of “free Tibet”, or, should I say the face of “free” France?
We shall never forget.
“Tibetans”, in paris, trying to attack a disabled lady (the man pushing the chair is a blind athlete, not knowing the violence coming at them), under the name of “freedom” and “human rights”. Quite a few of them, the so called fighters for “human rights”, taking advantages of her disability, repeatedly attacked her physically attempting to grab the torch. The shameless actions of the western “human rights fighters” once again gave all the Chinese a great lesson. What do they stand for? Justice and peace or prejudice and violence? What do they want? “Free Tibet” or poor China? What do they hate? Communism or Chinese in the large?
You can find more detailed account here and here. Even if you don’t read Chinese, you can see more pictures.
Truth should be given no less priority than any else, including “human rights” if you insist
Any one who is prepared to shout “free Tibet” on the face of China should at least go read the PBS discussion forum to have the least level of education. Thanks to my reader who provided me the link.
Hey, another one about Dalai (Dalie), this one by National Geographic
Better than Communism?
